Pick A Polish: Kelly Brook - Unnamed Glitter

Hi everyone. Happy Monday! I'm still suffering a bit from the weekend, an early night for me tonight I think!

For Pick A Polish this week I will be showing you a glitter by Kelly Brook which doesn't appear to have a name. I got this back in the summer along with another polish which I had planned to wear on holiday. Unfortunately the formula on both the polishes were awful, so I took it straight off and they have sat in my helmer since... until now!

This glitter is a clear base with silver holographic squares. My swatch shows one sponged coat over OPI - Do You Have This Colour In Stockholm. The glitter pieces were very sparse and the base quite thick and gloopy, so when I applied the polish with the brush from the bottle I only got a few glitters on my nail - hence why I applied it with a sponge. I didn't want to do multiple coats as it was so thick and hard to work with. This was a stinker too! I dread to think what horrible chemicals are in this, definitely not one to go for if that is an issue for you! I didn't do any nail art with this, mainly because I've been a bit behind with blogging lately, but partly because I couldn't be bothered to deal with this stinky polish anymore haha.

I hate to be so negative, but if you do come across this polish don't bother wasting your money on it! It is quite pretty, but in my opinion not unique enough to bother dealing with the terrible formula. There's loads of similar polishes out there that are much easier to work with. I don't think I will be using this all that often.

Let me know what you think in the comments.

Have a great day.

  1. I've not tried any of the Kelly Brook polishes and i don't think I want to, especially if they are a bit stinky

    1. No I wouldn't rate them at all, I would spend your money on something else if I were you! :)
