Fingerfood's Theme Buffet - Skittle.

Hello everyone. Thank god it's Friday, I feel like this week has lasted forever and it is sooo hot today!

I have this week's Fingerfood's Theme Buffet post to show you today. My last post in this challenge I posted in the wrong week... oops! I didn't post one last week so I should hopefully have the right week now ;) haha. Today the theme is skittle, which means a different colour/pattern on each nail. Skittles are not something I wear that often so this prompt challenged me a bit (I guess that's the idea of a challenge though).

Pick A Polish: Nails Inc - Baker Street

Hi everyone. This is yet another scheduled post as I will still be in Morocco when this goes live.

Today I have this week's Pick A Polish to show you, this month it will be pushed back to Tuesdays because of the nail art challenge I am doing. This week's polish is Nails Inc - Baker Street which I was gifted by my cousin when she had a clear out of her polishes and I have to say I do love the colour.

Copycat Saturday: Peach Half Moons.

Hi lovelies. How are you all? I have had the longest week ever, it has gone so slow! So I am glad it's time for a rest. Also this is my 100th post, I don't believe I have posted so many already.

It's the weekend! So that means it's time for Copycat Saturday. This week I was inspired by this pin, as often is the case with pinterest it doesn't link back to the original creator.. but judging by the watermark I think they originated from this blog, however I cannot find the original post.

Rockstar Studs

Hi everyone. I hope you are all well. Its almost the weekend, one more day to go!

Today I have a design to show you which I copied from Galorious here, so all credit to her for the idea. As soon as I saw this mani I dropped everything and had to put it on my nails immediately, I loved it that much! The original design used gold studs, but I didn't have any gold squares, so I had to make do with silver.

I started with a base of W7 - Black on my thumb, OPI - Don't Burst My Bubble on my index finger and pinky and OPI - My Paprika Is Hotter Than Yours on my middle and ring finger.

On my thumb I freehanded the diamond with OPI - My Paprika Is Hotter Than Yours, once this was dry I added the studs on with topcoat.

On my index finger and pinky I added the french tip using W7 - Black. I freehanded the half moon with OPI - My Paprika Is Hotter Than Yours and added the studs round it with topcoat again.

On my middle and ring finger I freehanded the diamond using W7 - Black and secured the studs with topcoat.

I really enjoyed wearing these, its a bit more edgy than what I usually go for but its nice to change things up once in a while.

What do you think? Let me know in the comments.

Thanks for looking.

Waterfall Half Moons

Hello everyone. This is my final scheduled post, by this time I will be nearing the end of my holiday and I will be coming home tomorrow.

Today I have a twist on the Nailasaurus' waterfall nail art. I really love her original design but I thought I would try it out with a half moon thrown in the mix too.

The base I used was Models Own - Apple Pie, the formula isn't great on that polish, it doesn't self level at all and is really hard to get even. But it is a pretty colour.

To make the half moon shape I used some of them hole reinforcer things.

Then using a striping brush I added the lines. I did this nail by nail so the polish wouldn't dry too much over the hole reinforcers and make them hard to remove. The colours I used were Rimmel - Green With Envy, Revlon - Blue Slate, Barry M - Greenberry, Cirque - Erda and an unnamed turquoise colour from Colour Club.

That was all there was to it, easy right? I really liked these nails, a lot of people complimented me whilst I was wearing them.

Have you tried waterfall nails yet?

Thanks for looking.

Pretty Purples

Hello, I hope everyone is having a good day. Today is my only day off this week so I have been relaxing this morning but I am viewing a flat later - very excited!

Today I have some nail art to show you. I recently bought a bottle of OPI - You're Such A Budapest and I just had to use it. I am quite pleased with how this design turned out, but I think I could have done the triangle half moons a bit neater. But I will work on that next time I do something similar.
