52 Week Pick & Mix Challenge: Film & Holo

Hello loves. How are we all? 

This week for the 52 Week Challenge the themes are film and holo. This is the first week in this challenge that I haven't combined both of the themes... I have to be quite honest I don't watch that many films so I always struggle when film themes come up in challenges. But the beauty of this challenge is that it is flexible, so I just went for the holo side of things.

A2Z - Holographic

Hi everyone. Happy Thursday.. it's a week til Christmas! I can't believe it has come around so quickly! 

I have been looking forward to this A2Z theme since the start of the series - HOLOGRAPHIC!!! As I'm sure most of you know by now, holo is a true love of mine. I got my first CbL holo a little while back and haven't had a chance to use it yet, so today was the day!

Silver Holo Sparkles for my Birthday.

Hello everyone. It's my birthday!!! I'm 21 now, so I feel like I should be acting more like an adult, but I don't think I want to ha! 

My main celebrations for my birthday were last weekend, when I went for my weekend away in London. I wanted something outrageously sparkly. I initially planned to do some nail art but once I had done my base I just couldn't put anything over it, it's so pretty!

The themes this week for the 52 week challenge are pink and three colour gradient.. so I went for a pink gradient (I'm a creative genius, I know :P).

Pick A Polish: A England - Saint George

Today I am going to show you one of my all time favourite polishes; A England - Saint George. This was one of the first polishes I purchased from A England and it was what made me fall in love with this brand. As you can tell I was happy when this polish was chosen this week!

A England Haul Swatches

Hi everyone. Happy Saturday! I have been very lazy this morning, have only just got up.. oopsies! I definitely needed a lie in today though.

Recently A England had a sale on all their polishes, so as you can probably guess I was straight in there to snap up a few pretties! I did want to buy them all, but I showed some restraint and only bought five (I did have twelve in my basket at one point). So today I am going to be sharing them with you.

April Tri Polish Challenge: Pink, Yellow and Blue.

Hello my lovelies. It's a lovely sunny afternoon today so I am feeling positive, it's amazing what a bit of sun can do for your mood :).

Today I am going to show you this weeks Tri Polish manicure. The colours for April are pink, yellow and blue. I thought I would struggle with this colour combo but I am happy with what I have come up with so far this month. I did say in my last Tri Polish post that I was going to try and do an Autism Awareness challenge so wouldn't be doing Tri Polish this month, however it all crept up on me too fast and I haven't had time for the challenge unfortunately. I do still have an autism awareness themed manicure lined up as my next post though :). Anyway...

Hello lovelies. How are you all? I don't usually post on a Friday.. I meant to post this yesterday but I've got the flu and was in bed most of yesterday. I'm still not well but I have managed to drag myself out of bed to post this today cos I wanna share them.

Today I am going to show you the polishes I got from the I Love Nail Polish Spring Collection. I thought this collection looked amazing so I had to snap up a few when the pre order started. I managed to restrain myself and just bought two. I decided I liked the look of them together so I did some nail art too :).

Rainbow Connection Haul

Hi loves. How are you all? I'm currently in a strop because I just got a new phone and it doesn't bloody work! What a rip off! Anyway...

Today I have another indie haul to show you, this time with purchases from Rainbow Connection since I went on a little spending spree there recently. I haven't bought much from Rainbow Connection before, but I am loving the fact that it is easier to get hold of international indies in the UK now without having to pay top dollar for shipping so I have a feeling I may be doing posts like this more often!

Belle Glamour Swatches and Review.

Hello lovelies. How are you all? I'm about to go and get ready for a night out tonight, it will be nice to let me hair down :).

I'm back with my second post for today, which are swatches of some new releases from Belle Glamour. I was contacted by Catriona recently and offered the polishes at a discount to swatch them, so of course I said yes. These were all released this morning so if you like what you see go and grab them while you can!

The owner of Belle Glamour, Catriona, contacted me again to see if I wanted to try any more of her polishes. Of course I said yes, especially since there were thermal polishes to be played with!

Simple Pink Holo Nail Art

Hello everyone, I hope all your weekends are going well.

Today I have some nails to show you that I did a few months ago and then forgot to post (hence why my nails are much shorter). But I found the pictures saved on my computer a few days ago and I really love them, so I thought I would share them.

For these I started with a base of NYC - MoMa on all my nails.

Once they were dry I painted Orly - Miss Conduct onto half of each nail using a fine nail art brush. I love this colour, sooo pretty! Unfortunately I couldn't capture it perfectly on my camera, the holo sparkle freaked it out a bit. But at least the sun came out when I was taking the pictures :).

I then added my little gems on by sticking them on with a blob of top coat and then top coating over them to secure it all. If I remember correctly these gems would not budge and I kept this mani on for about a week (which is an eternity for me).

And that's all there was to it. Super easy and really rather pretty (even if I do say so myself).
