52 Week Challenge: Geometric & Blue, Yellow & Green (Plus a Born Pretty Store Review).

Hello loves! How are we all? 

I've managed to get together something for this week's 52 Week Challenge today, and I've combined it with a review for plate BP-L004 from Born Pretty Store. The themes this week are geometric and blue, yellow and green. I knew immediately when I saw this plate that I would be using it for this, as it has some lovely geometric images. I decided to leave out the yellow and green in the end and just went for a blue manicure.

Hi everyone. It's FRIDAY! I hope you've all had lovely weeks and have great weekends ahead of you. My day at work was pretty quiet, and I'm now having a quiet night in on my sofa (which happens all too often lately). 

I have a review of plate 121 from MoYou Nails to show you today. This could be quite a good festive plate, with the bows - but I decided to go with a purple colour scheme instead.

Hello lovelies. How have your Mondays been? Mine has been pretty busy but work went quite quickly so it's not so bad!

I've got another two in one post today. I'll be showing you Ethereal Lacquer - Violet Frost for Pick A Polish along with a review for plate BP14 from Born Pretty Store. I've swatched this polish on the blog once before, but this was my first time wearing it as a full manicure. This happens way too often with my stash!

Born Pretty Store Review - Stamping Plate M89

Hi loves. How are we all? I only have half a day left at work tomorrow before a 3 and a half day weekend so I'm looking forward to that. 

I have another stamping plate to show you today from Born Pretty Store. The plate in question is M89 which has a mixture of different style full nail designs and some teeny little flowers. This one has a great variety of designs. I was excited to have another go at stamping as I'm actually starting to enjoy the process now.

Green Nails for Depression #fightforlightandlive

Hi everyone. 

I don't usually post on a Sunday - but this is for a good cause so I had to take part. In honour of comedy legend Robin Williams, there has been a tag started on Instagram to raise awareness for depression. Today people will be posting their green manicures for this great cause. I don't suffer from depression myself but members of my family do, and I know it's a problem that affects millions of people. Despite it being such a big problem, I think it is also quite misunderstood and a bit of a taboo subject - so if this tag is going to make people more aware of what a struggle having depression can be then I'm glad to be a part of it. Hello lovelies. I hope Monday hasn't been too bad for you all. I went with my friend to pick up her new kittens after work, they are soooo cute and I want one now!

For Pick A Polish this week I have been using Pretty & Polished - Cuttlefish. I've never used this polish before, I got it not long ago from a Facebook sale page so I was excited to give it a try. It's also a thermal which always goes down well with me :).

Pick A Polish: OPI - Sparrow Me The Drama

Hi loves. How are we all? I can't believe it is New Years Eve tomorrow already, it's crept up so fast.

It's time for this week's Pick A Polish manicure. The polish for this week is OPI - Sparrow Me The Drama. Doing these posts every week has made me realise how many pink polishes I own, nearly every week has been a pink polish so far lol. I promise I do own other colours too!

I got this polish a while ago on ebay.. I am not 100% sure if it is real because the bottle feels very slightly different from the rest of my OPI's, but it still does the job and I got it cheap so I am not going to complain.

Sparrow Me The Drama is a rosy pink cream. This photo shows 3 coats without topcoat. It was fairly opaque and was almost okay in two coats, however there were a few slight bald spots so I added a third to even it out completely. I had no issues with the application.
