Fingerfood's Theme Buffet - Inspired by Music

Hi guys. How are you all? I am glad it's the weekend (I think I say this every Friday).

The theme for Fingerfood's Theme Buffet this week is music.. and I have gone for the most loose interpretation on the theme possible haha! I browsed Youtube looking at lots of different music videos until something in one of them inspired me, a lot of music videos are very boring nowadays lol. Eventually I came across the video for Sing by Ed Sheeran and I liked the blue stripey pattern that is in the background at times so I went with that for my manicure (I told you it was a loose interpretation!).

Fashion Inspired - Colour Splash Nails

Hi everyone. I hope you are all having good days. It's a week today until I go on holiday so I'm starting to get excited now!

Today I have another clothing inspired manicure to show you. I have lots and lots of designs planned for these I just need to get round to creating them all on my nails :). So I might start doing a little series of these, but I'll just post them as and when I can instead of doing them once a week like some of the other series I have done.

Pick A Polish: Belle Glamour - Wink Wink.

Hi my loves. Happy Monday. This is my last full week at work before I go on holiday, so I reckon this week is going to go slowly :P.

I have this week's Pick A Polish post for you today and another UK indie to show you. I seem to be on a UK indie roll with these posts lately :). This week's polish is Belle Glamour - Wink Wink. Belle Glamour is another UK indie which unfortunately isn't trading any more but I did get quite a few polishes from this brand whilst I could.

Abstract Floral Print.

Hi everyone. How was your day? Mine was busy and I still have lots to do, I'm glad I wrote this post up in advance!

Today I have another random manicure to show you all. I saw a top whilst I was out with a print like this on, so I decided to put it on my nails. I'm not sure if it is meant to be, but it reminds me of flowers, so that is what I am going with.

What I Wore On My Nails - Christmas Work Do.

Hello everyone. I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas. I had a lovely relaxing day and don't have to go back to work until Monday, yay!

Today I am going to show you some nails I wore a few weeks ago to my Christmas work do. I bought myself a sparkly, new dress and needed some nails to match.

Abstract Circles.

Hello everyone! This is a scheduled post so providing this works I should currently be sunning myself in Cyprus :).

Today I have some nail art to show you that I did based on this image. I am not 100% sure what it is meant to be, but I really liked all the circles. This was really hard to capture on my nails, so I haven't replicated it exactly. But I am still pleased with my interpretation.

I started with a white base and sponged OPI - I Saw.. You Saw.. We Saw.. Warsaw (that name is way too long) and Rimmel - Blue Eyed Girl over the white. I feel this may have been a bit of a pointless step because you couldn't really see it once I did everything over the top.

I sponged OPI - Live and Let Die and OPI - Uh Oh Roll Down The Window onto the tips.

I then made some circles with a white creme using my largest dotting tool. I diluted a bit of Barry M - Blueberry using nail polish remover and added this in blobs over the circles.

I added more circles using the same technique and did the diluted blobs using Rimmel - Blue Eyed Girl. I also diluted a bit of OPI - Uh Oh Roll Down The Window and added a tiny bit of this.

I really enjoyed doing these, it was something a bit different. They definitely aren't a perfect replica of the inspiration but you can kinda see the connection right?

Thanks for looking!
