52 Week Pick & Mix Challenge - Distressed/Grey

Hi everyone. How are we all?

I've got another 52 Week Challenge post for you today, this week the themes are distressed and grey. I probably could have been more creative with this theme, but I decided just to do exactly what the theme says - grey, distressed nails.

Pick A Polish: A England - Iseult (Plus Born Pretty Store Plate BP19 Review)

Provided for review*

Hello lovelies. I hope Monday is treating you well, mine has been fairly average.

For Pick A Polish this week I shall be showing you A England - Iseult along with a review for plate BP19 from Born Pretty Store. I believe Iseult was one of my first ever polishes from A England, so it's a fairly old polish in my stash and I've used it a few times in the past.

Born Pretty Store Review - Stamping Plate BP10

Provided for review*

Hello lovelies. I hope your weekends are going well. I've been out for lunch with my parents and boyfriend today, now I'm catching up on blog stuff since I haven't got much done whilst I've been ill this week!

Today I have a stamping plate (BP10) from Born Pretty Store to show you today. I've got quite a few plates to review for you (I'll be doing a lot of stamping as I have all my MoYou plates to review too), but this is the one I liked the look of most, so that is why I chose to show it to you first.

Hi everyone. How are you all? I am glad it's nearly Friday, I have been so unmotivated with work this week!

I have more stamping for you today. I got all excited after my successful stamping on Monday and decided to have another go to check it wasn't a fluke :P. I'm glad to report that it wasn't lol.

Pick A Polish: A England - Saint George

Hi lovelies. Happy Monday. I am feeling a bit spaced out at the moment, an early night for me I think!

Today I am going to show you one of my all time favourite polishes; A England - Saint George. This was one of the first polishes I purchased from A England and it was what made me fall in love with this brand. As you can tell I was happy when this polish was chosen this week!

A England Haul Swatches

Hi everyone. Happy Saturday! I have been very lazy this morning, have only just got up.. oopsies! I definitely needed a lie in today though.

Recently A England had a sale on all their polishes, so as you can probably guess I was straight in there to snap up a few pretties! I did want to buy them all, but I showed some restraint and only bought five (I did have twelve in my basket at one point). So today I am going to be sharing them with you.

Pick A Polish: Rimmel - Baby Bellini

Hi loves. Happy Monday, I'm feeling a bit slow today lol.

Today I am going to show you a manicure using Rimmel - Baby Bellini for Pick A Polish this week. This is from Rimmel's Cocktail Colour collection and I bought it last year, but haven't got round to using it until now. That's one off the untried list :).

To see what I came up with read on after the jump.

Pick A Polish: OPI - Sparrow Me The Drama

Hi loves. How are we all? I can't believe it is New Years Eve tomorrow already, it's crept up so fast.

It's time for this week's Pick A Polish manicure. The polish for this week is OPI - Sparrow Me The Drama. Doing these posts every week has made me realise how many pink polishes I own, nearly every week has been a pink polish so far lol. I promise I do own other colours too!

I got this polish a while ago on ebay.. I am not 100% sure if it is real because the bottle feels very slightly different from the rest of my OPI's, but it still does the job and I got it cheap so I am not going to complain.

Sparrow Me The Drama is a rosy pink cream. This photo shows 3 coats without topcoat. It was fairly opaque and was almost okay in two coats, however there were a few slight bald spots so I added a third to even it out completely. I had no issues with the application.

#BritishBloggerSelection: Favourite Make Up.. Kinda!

Hello lovelies. I hope everyone's day is going well. I have just finished work and I have the rest of the week off as it is my birthday tomorrow, its so good to just relax!

Today I have another instalment of the #BritishBloggerSelection for you. This weeks prompt was your favourite make up. Now I am no expert when it comes to make up, and I have a pretty limited collection (all my money is spent on nail polish). So since this is a nail blog I decided to show you my current favourite 10 polishes in my stash. I think a group of bloggers did a post like this last week, which I wanted to join in on, as I had just heard about it after I had done all my swatches. But it would have been the wrong week for this post so I decided to go it alone instead lol.

This post is pretty picture heavy so read on after the jump.

Daisy Nails

Hello everyone! I hope we are all having a good week.

Today I have some more floral nails to show you, I am really loving florals lately. I have a few more designs lined up to show you and I have only just realised that almost all of them are floral in some way. I need to stop! Lol. This time I did daisies, based on this design which was by The Nailphile.

I started with a base of A-England - Lady Of Shallot. This is such a gorgeous colour (as always with A-England) but I struggled capturing it's beauty in my pictures, I still need to figure out my lighting set up.

I freehanded the white with a white creme and my detail brush.

I added the yellow with Nicole by OPI - Hit The Lights using a dotting tool.

A coat of Seche Vite and that was it.

These were so quick and easy to do but still rather pretty.

I will be back soon with some more floral nails!

Thanks for looking.
