Hi everyone. It's FRIDAY! I hope you've all had lovely weeks and have great weekends ahead of you. My day at work was pretty quiet, and I'm now having a quiet night in on my sofa (which happens all too often lately).
I have a review of plate 121 from MoYou Nails to show you today. This could be quite a good festive plate, with the bows - but I decided to go with a purple colour scheme instead.
Click below for more.
This plate is mostly bows, with the exception of the rose image and the swirly star one. All of these images transferred well, I had no issues there. I did find the bows slightly too wide for most of my nails, although I do have fairly narrow nail beds so it may not be an issue for a lot of people. It's nice to have a good range of bows in my stamping stash, there are loads of ways I could use these.
For my manicure I used a base of I Love Nail Polish - Charmingly Purple and stamped using Konad - Dark Purple. I struggle getting the placement right with these small individual images, I always stamp them wonky. So for these I turned them into little decals (by adding topcoat over the image whilst it was still on the stamper, then peeling it off) which were much easier to place evenly.
I was happy with this plate, if the images appeal to you I'd definitely recommend it. Bows are a great staple image to have.
This plate is available here for £4.99, although it's currently out of stock.
