52 Week Pick & Mix Challenge: Film & Holo

Hello loves. How are we all? 

This week for the 52 Week Challenge the themes are film and holo. This is the first week in this challenge that I haven't combined both of the themes... I have to be quite honest I don't watch that many films so I always struggle when film themes come up in challenges. But the beauty of this challenge is that it is flexible, so I just went for the holo side of things.

MoYou Nails Review - Plate 121

Hi everyone. It's FRIDAY! I hope you've all had lovely weeks and have great weekends ahead of you. My day at work was pretty quiet, and I'm now having a quiet night in on my sofa (which happens all too often lately). 

I have a review of plate 121 from MoYou Nails to show you today. This could be quite a good festive plate, with the bows - but I decided to go with a purple colour scheme instead.

Blue and Gold Skittle

Hello lovelies. This is a scheduled post as I'll be living it up in London this weekend to celebrate my 21st! 

I went to a wedding last weekend, so I wanted some simple nail art that I could do easily on both hands. I went for a skittle style design with a blue and gold colour scheme, which matched the outfit that I was wearing.

Pick A Polish: China Glaze - Keepin' It Teal

Hi loves. I hope Monday has treated you well. I went with my boyfriend to watch him do a track day after work today, so my evening has consisted of standing in the rain whilst my boyfriend got to drive fast cars round a track.. I think he needs to take me polish shopping now :). 

It's time for Pick A Polish! This week I have been playing with China Glaze - Keepin' It Teal. This was one of China Glaze's summer 2013 releases and I got it when it first came out, used it once or twice.. and since then it's sat in my helmer. This is one of the reasons why I love doing this series so much, it forces me to use the more neglected polishes in my collection.

Fingerfood's Theme Buffet - Marbling.

Hello everyone. I'm baaack! I had an amazing holiday and I think I could do with another week laid on the beach in the sun, but it's back to reality for me now.

The theme for Fingerfood's Theme Buffet this week is marbling. Initially I was going to do a water marble but water marbling is not something that comes naturally to me - I have done a few water marbles in the past but they take a lot of time and effort (and wasted polish). So I decided to have a go at a drag marble/dry marble to see if it was any easier. I'm glad to report that it was much easier :).

Lightning Bolts Using Nail Stickrs

Hello loves. I hope everyone is having a good day. I am looking forward to the weekend now, hopefully work doesn't drag too much tomorrow!

I have another manicure using my Nail Stickrs to show you today. These were the stickers that I was the most excited to use; lightning bolts! I have been meaning to try lightning bolt nails forever, and when I received these stickers I knew it was the perfect time to try it.

May Tri Polish Challenge: Red, Purple and Green

Hi loves. I'm feeling very tired at the moment I have had a very long day, I've been up since half 4 this morning. I need a nap lol.

Anyway, the beginning of a new month means new colours for the Tri Polish Challenge, this month they are red, purple and green. I have to say I'm not overly inspired by the colours this month, they kind of remind me of christmas. But I shall try my best to come up with some interesting designs to show you.

Hello lovelies. How are you all? I don't usually post on a Friday.. I meant to post this yesterday but I've got the flu and was in bed most of yesterday. I'm still not well but I have managed to drag myself out of bed to post this today cos I wanna share them.

Today I am going to show you the polishes I got from the I Love Nail Polish Spring Collection. I thought this collection looked amazing so I had to snap up a few when the pre order started. I managed to restrain myself and just bought two. I decided I liked the look of them together so I did some nail art too :).
