Hi lovelies. How are you all?
The themes for this week's 52 Week Challenge are dots and three shades of purple. I love dots and I love purple, so I had an idea of what this manicure would turn out like in my head for a while. But when it came to sitting down and doing it, I felt like doing a watermarble - so I changed all my plans and I ended up with something completely different (living life on the edge, I know!).
Click below for more.
I started by painting all my nails white using Sinful Colors - Snow Me White. Over this I did my watermarble using Revlon - Calla Lily, Sally Hansen - Perfect Plum and OPI - Diva of Geneva (at least I think that is what it's called as my bottle doesn't have a label). I added in a few dots using OPI - You're Such A Budapest. These (unintentionally) turned out like upside down flames, which I thought was quite cool.
Even if watermarbling frustrates the hell out of me, I'm still determined to master it! Most of my outcomes are now blog worthy, which is a start! I think I may have copped out on the dots part of this week's theme though!
Let me know your thoughts below.
See you next time.
