Fingerfood's Theme Buffet - Autumn

Hello lovelies. Happy Friday!

I have this week's Theme Buffet to show you today, and this will be the last Theme Buffet post for a while unfortunately. Samantha aka Fingerfood Nails is putting the challenge on hold for a few months but there will be a fresh new start in the new year! I've really enjoyed taking part in this challenge so I will miss these weekly posts over the next few months but I'm excited to see what will come next year. This week's theme is autumn and the first thing I think of when I think autumn is tree's and all the gorgeous colours of autumn leaves.. so that is what I went with.

Colour Block Leaves

Hello lovelies. I hope you are all having a lovely weekend, this is another scheduled post. Hopefully I am starting to build up my tan by now!

Today I have some autumn-y, leafy nails to show you. I decided to try and be a bit unique with my leaves and do a colour clock type design, I have to admit it looked a lot better in my head :P.

Simple Plaid Nails

Hello lovelies. How are you all? I've just finished my last full day at work before I am off on my holiday, so I'm quite excitable today. I've still got posts scheduled for while I'm away, I just won't be active on social media or be able to reply to any comments until I get back.

Since the weather is turning here in the UK I have been wanting to wear more autumnal things on my nails lately (even though I'm going to be in sunny Rhodes in a few days lol). I came across this gorgeous design on Druid Nails and thought this was literally the most perfect design for the autumn so put it on my nails right away.

Autumn Trees

Hello loves. I hope everyone is well. This is another scheduled post as I will still be in Cyprus when this goes live, hopefully I will be a few shades browner by now!

Today I have a very autumnal design to show you, I love the colour of the leaves at this time of year so I decided I wanted them on my nails.

The base I used was Sally Hansen - Ion.

I free-handed the tree trunk and branches using China Glaze - Ingrid.

For the leaves I used China Glaze - Riveting, Essie - Fear or Desire, Models Own - Peach Sherbet, Nicole by OPI - Hit The Lights and Avon - Lemon Sugar. I did all the details on this design using a detail brush.

I was really pleased with these, I enjoyed having tiny little trees on my nails. Perfect for the current season!

Have you done any autumn designs this year?

Thanks for looking.

Swirly Floral Nails

Hello lovelies. I hope everyone is doing well.

I wasn't really sure what to call this design, hence the title. I was feeling a bit uninspired when I was doing these so I just sat down and painted and this is how it turned out.

I started with a base of Sally Hansen - Without A Stitch.

I added the swirl down the middle using China Glaze - Goldie But Goodie and a nail art brush.

I then added the flowers and other dots using OPI - Live and Let Die and China Glaze - Goldie But Goodie again with dotting tools.

It was as simple as that, so easy to do. But I still was happy with how these came out. I think they are quite appropriate for autumn, as summer is well and truly gone now.

Thanks for stopping by!
