The Nail Arcade: Whale Charm

Provided for review*

Hello loves. Happy Saturday! I've just got home from my very early shift at work today so my weekend starts now!

I have another review for The Nail Arcade to show you today. This time for a little whale charm.

Click below for more.

I went for a blue colour scheme to emulate the sea. I used a base of Freckles Polish - Blue Hawaii and used the saran wrap technique with Freckles Polish - Blue Lagoon over the top. I added on my nail charm using nail glue.

This one definitely needs nail glue - I used topcoat at first and it went for a little swim in the sink about an hour after I put it on, but I then stuck it back on with nail glue and it didn't budge at all. I like the size of this charm in terms of how much of the nail it covers, but I wasn't so much of a fan of how thick it is. It is very raised which made it a bit impractical for everyday wear as it catches on things. Although I don't often wear charms day to day anyway, generally just on special occasions where practicality isn't so much of an issue. I do love this little whale, he is very cute - I just wish he wasn't quite as hefty! I guess he is a whale though lol.

Even though this charm is a little impractical, I still really liked it. The whale is super cute and I could make some really cool sea inspired nail art using this little guy. I'm loving these two blue polishes together as well.

This little charm doesn't seem to currently be available from The Nail Arcade - but it should be available soon so keep your eyes peeled if want to snap one up! You can also follow The Nail Arcade on Facebook and Twitter to keep up with their latest deals.

Let me know what you think below.

Have an amazing weekend!
