52 Week Pick & Mix Challenge: Three Colour Gradient/Pink (with Butterfly Glitters from The Nail Arcade)

Provided for review*

Hello my loves. It's nearly Friday!

I have possibly my girliest manicure ever to show you today. I'm also killing two birds with one stone and combining this week's 52 Week Challenge and my review for some cute little butterfly glitters from The Nail Arcade. The themes this week for the 52 week challenge are pink and three colour gradient.. so I went for a pink gradient (I'm a creative genius, I know :P).

Click below for more.

The three polishes I used for my gradient were China Glaze - Life is Rosy, China Glaze - Pink-ie Promise and Delush Polish - Make Me Blush. I then added a few blobs of topcoat and stuck my cute little butterfly glitters onto my nail and then added another thick layer of topcoat.
These loose glitters are very girly and cute - I like them now, but I think I would have been absolutely besotted with them as a little girl. So these could be a great gift for a young, budding nail artist in my opinion. I think they are the perfect size personally, I think any bigger would be too much and they are holographic too which automatically means I love them. The only gripe I did have is that the wings did stick up a bit through my topcoat so my nails weren't as smooth as I would have liked (which is common with loose glitter pieces). I am a notorious glitter picker so this manicure didn't last too long on me unfortunately!

These nails have definitely filled my girly quota for a while - they are a complete contrast from my skull nails on Tuesday. I wasn't sure about them at first but I embraced them after a while.. and then I picked the glitter off. Bad Vicky!

These butterfly glitters are available here for just 55p.. bargain! You can also follow The Nail Arcade on Twitter and Facebook to keep up with all the latest goings on.

What's the girliest manicure you've ever done? Let me know what you think below.

See you next time.
