Hi loves. How are you? Despite the dreary weather here today I am in quite a good mood :).
For Pick A Polish this week I will be showing you Freckles Polish - Wild Flower Meadow. I've featured this on the blog a few times before, I think it has to be one of my favourite glitters. This is more of a spring polish for me, but I have tried to make it more autumn appropriate for this post.

Wild Flower Meadow is a glitter topper in a clear base filled with purple, white, pink, blue and gold glitters. The light pastel coloured glitters are perfect for spring, but I have layered one coat over Zoya - Margo to try and make it more season appropriate. The glitters apply really well, I did a little bit of moving the glitters around once on the nail but not much. I think I prefer this over lighter, more spring like colours but I still really love this combo.
I kept it fairly simple for my nail art - I just added a freehand rose using OPI - This Gown Needs A Crown. Initially I used a shiny topcoat but it looked a bit too much, so I added a coat of Rimmel - Matte Topcoat which I think finished it off nicely.
I really really love this glitter, it's such a pretty mix. Whilst I do prefer it with lighter colours I still liked this mani, I think the colours still work. Freckles Polish has to be my favourite UK indie brand - I really want some of the new releases that have been brought out recently but I've banned myself from buying any polish for now because I need to save some money, waaah! Nail polish addict problems!
Have you tried anything from this brand? Let me know your thoughts in the comments.
Thanks for stopping by.
I love it over a dark base, never thought of trying that myself! Thank you for picking Freckles Polish :)
