Fingerfood's Theme Buffet - Autumn

Hello lovelies. Happy Friday!

I have this week's Theme Buffet to show you today, and this will be the last Theme Buffet post for a while unfortunately. Samantha aka Fingerfood Nails is putting the challenge on hold for a few months but there will be a fresh new start in the new year! I've really enjoyed taking part in this challenge so I will miss these weekly posts over the next few months but I'm excited to see what will come next year. This week's theme is autumn and the first thing I think of when I think autumn is tree's and all the gorgeous colours of autumn leaves.. so that is what I went with.

Click below for more.

I used a base of Leighton Denny - Blue Lagoon and over this I used the saran wrap technique (dabbed the polish on with scrunched up cling film) with Sinful Colors - Snow Me White. I freehanded on my little trees using China Glaze - Ingrid and applied my leaves with a dotting tool. The colours I used for my leaves were Rimmel - Celebrity Bash, Barielle - Rusted Vintage Boots, China Glaze - Metro Pollen-tin, OPI - Where Did Suzi's Mango?, Seventeen - Risky Red and Sally Hansen - Fiery Island.

I was really happy with how these came out, I think they are pretty cute. On the grand scale of freehand they were reasonably easy to do too which is always a bonus :). I did an autumn tree design last year too, I can't figure out which one I prefer - you can see that post here

Let me know your thoughts in the comments.

Have a great day!

  1. Lovely! I can't choose a favourite design either, but I do have to say your photo quality has improved quite a bit since last year!
