Pick A Polish: Barry M - Berry Ice Cream.

Hello my loves. How was your Monday? I am still feeling a bit tired from the weekend so I am glad to be home now :P.

For Pick A Polish this week I shall be showing you Barry M - Berry Ice Cream. I use Barry M polishes a lot, but I haven't used this one in ages. I had almost forgotten how pretty it is!

Click below for more.

Berry Ice Cream is a pale lilac creme, I love wearing this polish during the spring time. My swatch shows two coats without topcoat, it dries to a nice shiny finish and application is very smooth. I don't know why I haven't used this much lately, it's one of the problems with having a large stash!

I decided to have another go at stamping for my nail art, I think I have finally mastered the art of stamping!

The image is from MoYou London Pro Plate 06. I like all the little petals.

I stamped using Konad - Dark Purple stamping polish.

I was really pleased with these, I think this is my best stamping effort to date. Now I want to go and buy lots more stamping plates :).

Let me know what you think in the comments.

Have a great day.

  1. What stamper and scraper do you use? I have a Konad one but it's a little small, and I have a feeling I may have lost the plastic scraper. I've also seen reviews that say the Moyo stampers aren't great too.

This Barry M colour looks amazing on it's own too!

    1. Thanks hun :).

I use an XL squishy stamper which I got from MoYou London. I used to use the Konad one but I found it was too small and too firm especially for full nail images. I haven't tried any other squishy stampers so I don't know if you can get better ones than MoYou but it's working for me. I use a little plastic scraper I got from MoYou also, but I have used an old credit card before and that works too.

  2. Thanks for the reply, I've had my eye on some MoYou plates for a while, so I may invest in a scraper and stamp too!

I'm on a no buy for polish, but nail art stuff doesn't count!

    1. Haha I like your thinking! Stamping plates definitely don't count as polish ;).
