Life In Lacquer's Nail Art Challenge - Monochrome.

Hello ladies. I hope you all had a lovely Monday, mine was fairly uneventful.

I have the penultimate theme for Life In Lacquer's Nail Art Challenge to show you today. I will be sad when this challenge is over, I've enjoyed taking part! Today's theme is monochrome which I was feeling a bit uninspired by.. and I still can't figure out if I like what I came up with.

I started with a base of China Glaze - Dandy-Lyin Around.

Then I did a rough gradient using a fan brush. First I used Loreal - You Are Worth It and then added W7 - Black also.. although the black covered the grey up completely. 

I decided it needed a little something more so I did a glitter gradient using Avon Colortrend - Silver Plated.

As I said before, I'm still not sure how I feel about these. At times I like them and at others I don't. A few other people told me they liked them whilst I was wearing them so I guess they can't be as bad as I think.

What do you think? Are these a nail fail or are they okay?
