Life In Lacquer's Nail Art Challenge - Floral

Hello everyone. Hope you're all well. I'm still feeling rather ill and I've spent six hours driving to and from a meeting today.. so I'm feeling a bit sorry for myself at the moment!

There is nothing that cheers me up more than some pretty floral nail art (sad, I know), and it just so happens that the theme for Life In Lacquer's Nail Art Challenge today is floral. So I have some pretty flowers to brighten my day (and hopefully yours too).

Read on after the jump for more.

These nails were inspired by this dress so it is also a fashion inspired post. It's a double whammy tonight!

My base colour is Sally Hansen - Fiery Island.

The flowers were freehanded. The colours I used were Barry M - Damson, Nail Pop - It's Mint, Sinful Colors - Snow Me White, W7 - Black and China Glaze - Metro Pollen-tin. For the stem I used Nails Inc - Bruton Mews.

I was really happy with these nails, they make me think of summer and fun :).

What are your thoughts? Let me know in the comments.

See you next time.

  1. Awesome design! I love that the flowers aren't "traditional," that is, done with a dotting tool!
