Pick A Polish: ILNP - Electric Carnival

For today's blog post I have this week's Pick A Polish to show you, featuring one of my newest additions to my stash, which I was very excited to try! The polish in question is ILNP - Electric Carnival which is one of their new ultra chrome flakies.

I wanted to do some kind of tape design, I came across this tutorial by @thinkjude on Instagram and decided to give that a try. My base is W7 - Black and once that was dry I applied my chevron nail vinyls in a square pattern around my nail and topped that with Electric Carnival. I topped it all with a coat of Freckles Polish - You Make Me So Matte, because you can't really beat matte flakies!

I love this polish, it's so gorgeous! I'm not really loving the nail art though, it totally didn't come out anything like the original design I copied! I think it's a mix of my chevron vinyls and my nails being the wrong size for it to work properly. So I sorta wish I had just swatched it, but never mind!
