Retro Waves

Hi everyone. This is my penultimate scheduled post, I will be flying home on Thursday - hoping feeling nicely rested and much more tanned.

Recently I have been feeling a bit uninspired nail art wise, sometimes it's hard to keep up with the pace of making five new designs a week. So I took to the internet on a mission to find some inspiration and I came across this set of patterns. I loved all of them - so I might have to recreate them all - but I went for the pattern on the top left first of all.

I painted all my nails using OPI - Amazon... Amazoff to start off with. I then took a small round brush and made a row of my waves and repeated the process with each colour until my nail was completely covered. The other colours I used were Essie - Naughty Nautical, Avon - Aqua Fantasy and Sinful Colors - Snow Me White

I was very happy with these. They were actually easier than they look, but very time consuming. This definitely isn't a design to do just before you need to walk out the door!

Let me know what you think in the comments.

See you next time guys.

  1. This looks great, but I can see how time consuming it must have been, just like a ruffle mani is.
