Fingerfood's Theme Buffet - Fruit and Veg

Hello lovelies. It's Friday! I've had the day off work today and I went to Thorpe Park with some friends, I had a lovely time but now I need to put my feet up :).

I have this week's Theme Buffet to show you today - the theme this time is fruit and veg. I have been loving fruit themed manicures this year, I think they have been a bit of a trend this summer. So obviously I wanted to go with the fruit side of the theme but I wanted to go for something a little more obscure than what I have done previously. In the end I settled on a papaya - I've never actually eaten one but I thought it would look good on my nails.

Click below for more.

I started with a base of Sinful Colors - Snow Me White and made a circular kind of gradient using OPI - Where Did Suzi's Mango? and Nicole by OPI - Hit The Lights. I then added my seeds using China Glaze - Ingrid and a dotting tool.

These may not be the most realistic papayas in the world, but I do kind of like the abstract style of these. I think I need to try a real papaya now!

Let me know your thoughts below.

Thanks for looking.

  1. This is cute! I actually thought about doing papaya nails too! The only papaya I've ever eaten wasn't very tasty, but I know people like it!
