Fashion Inspired - Colour Splash Nails

Hi everyone. I hope you are all having good days. It's a week today until I go on holiday so I'm starting to get excited now!

Today I have another clothing inspired manicure to show you. I have lots and lots of designs planned for these I just need to get round to creating them all on my nails :). So I might start doing a little series of these, but I'll just post them as and when I can instead of doing them once a week like some of the other series I have done.

Read on after the jump for more.

This is the dress I was inspired by from Asos. This one is a bit out of my price range but I loved all the bright colours so decided it was one I needed to recreate.

I started with a base of OPI - Don't Bossa Nova Me Around

To create my patterns I just used a striping brush, keeping it fairly random and abstract.

The colours I used were Barry M - Key Lime, Essie - Under Where?, Barielle - Surf's Up, Sally Hansen - Frutti Petutie and Sally Hansen - Fiery Island.

I really liked this design, I thought it was really fun to wear and it's a pretty easy look to achieve. I love the colours!

Let me know your thoughts in the comments.

Thanks for looking.
