Pick A Polish: OPI - Can't Find My Czechbook

Hello lovelies. How are you all? I've just been looking at holidays.. so I am now feeling all excited!

I'm back with this week's Pick A Polish post, this week we have a lovely blue polish; OPI - Can't Find My Czechbook. This was one of the first polishes I got from OPI about a year ago and since then I have collected many more OPI polishes.. I used to use this one a lot but haven't used it as much lately.

To see what I came up with read on after the jump.

Can't Find My Czechbook is a mid blue cream polish. I used three coats for this swatch. It does have quite a thin and runny formula, so if you're not careful you can flood your cuticles! It is fairly opaque but is quite streaky hence why the third coat is needed. Despite the fact it doesn't have a perfect formula, I still love it.. I think it is the perfect mid blue shade.

Now for the exciting bit.. the nail art :).

I decided to go for some squares and keep with the blue colour scheme.

I freehanded the whole design using a detail brush.

The white is Barry M - Matt White and the darker blue is Barry M - Indigo.

I was pretty pleased with these, my squares aren't perfect but that doesn't bother me too much. I like the monochrome colour scheme of this, I think I should try that more often!

What do you guys think? Let me know in the comments.

Thanks for looking.

  1. Wow, that is a bright blue. Love the simple nail art over the top, great complimentary colours.
