Easter Daffodils

Hello ladies. I hope everyone is excited for the bank holiday weekend :) I am still working tomorrow but have the other three days off after that which I am looking forward to.

Since it's now practically Easter I decided it was time to do some Easter inspired designs. For today's manicure I wanted something that wasn't totally in your face Easter, but still had the feel about it.. so I went for daffodils (I still have an in your face Easter post to come). I was perhaps being a little ambitious with these but I don't think I did too badly :).

For more details on this manicure click below.

I started by painting all my nails with Barry M - Blueberry.

Over Blueberry I sponged some white using Sinful Colors - Snow Me White.

I freehanded my daffodils using the following polishes; Nicole by OPI - Hit The Lights, OPI - Where Did Suzi's Man-go?, Models Own - Peach Sherbet and Essie - Fear or Desire.

Finally I painted the stalks and grass using Barry M - Key Lime and Nails Inc - Bruton Mews.

I was pretty pleased with these overall, I'm not totally happy with the centre of the flowers as they look a bit flat.. but I'm probably being a bit picky. But they definitely remind me of the spring and Easter which is the look I was going for.

What are your thoughts? Let me know in the comments.

Thanks for looking.
