Born Pretty Store Review - Stamping Plate QA82

Provided for review*

Hi girls. I'm so glad it's the weekend! I hope you all have nice things planned.

I have a review of a stamping plate from Born Pretty Store to show you today. The stamping plate in question is plate QA82 which has some lovely floral designs on it. If you are a regular reader you will know I don't stamp very much, so this post was somewhat of a learning curve for me - but I really wanted to see what Born Pretty Stores stamping plates are like.

Read on after the jump to see what I thought.

Here are all the images on the plate stamped on a piece of paper. As you can see they haven't all transferred perfectly, despite quite a few attempts. However, looking at the customer images on the Born Pretty Store website there are plenty of photos on there that have perfectly transferred stamps.. so it could just be me that's the problem here.

For my manicure I used a base of OPI - Love.Angel.Music.Baby and stamped with Konad - Black.

This was the image I found the easiest to use from the plate which is why I picked it, I managed to do all five nails in one go with this image. I didn't have to start any nails again which is rare with me and stamping :P.

I love the combination of these colours.

I was pleased with this stamping plate overall. Like I said before I did have a few issues with not all the images transferring cleanly, but that could be partly user error. However this plate is so much cheaper than a lot of others that are available that could make up for it. I'm sure a more experienced stamper wouldn't have as many issues either. That put aside, the images are really pretty, I especially love the full nail images.. I could definitely make lots of pretty nails out of them if I ever master the art of stamping properly ;).

This stamping plate is available here for $2.39 (at time of writing) with free international shipping and there are tonnes more plates available if this isn't your cup of tea. Plus if you use my discount code (STAX31) you can get 10% off.

You can follow Born Pretty Store on FacebookTwitter and Instagram to keep up with their latest deals and products.

See you soon!

  1. That looks so pretty! I love the combination you've used.

I haven't tried any BPS stamping plates (although I'm addicted to their decals!) but maybe I should, that looks lovely.

  3. I have one stampingplate from BPS and I also find it a bit tricky to get the image perfect.
