Hi everyone. Happy Monday. I have spent my evening playing bingo and eating cookie dough which is why this post is a bit later this evening.
For Pick A Polish this Monday I have an old UK indie polish to show you. The polish in question is Nail Lacquer UK - Bloody Fingers. Nail Lacquer UK are no longer trading as an indie brand which is a shame because I really loved them! The owner AJ still has a wonderful blog though which you can check out here. I believe Bloody Fingers was a halloween polish, but I never got round to actually using it so this is my first experience with this polish.
Read on after the jump to see this polish.
Bloody Fingers is a vibrant red jelly base filled with array of different glitters, but mostly black. I was really impressed with the formula of this, it applied very smoothly and the glitter spread evenly. Due to it being a jelly the base was a little sheer but built well, I used 3 coats for this swatch. Only downside was it did stain a bit :(.
Now for my nail art..
I'm never sure what to do for nail art with these glitter packed polishes, but in the end I decided to pair it with a matte polish called BK - Black.
I added polka dots on my thumb, ring finger and little finger.
On my index and middle finger I used BK - Black again.
I really liked this polish, I don't know why it took me so long to use it. I don't usually like red and black together that much, but I quite like it in this manicure.
Let me know what you think in the comments.
Thanks for looking.
