Pick A Polish: Freckles Polish - Just As You Are.

Hello my loves.

It's time for Pick A Polish again, this week I have another UK indie polish to show - Freckles Polish - Just As You Are. I have swatched this on the blog before but haven't worn it as a full manicure until now so it was nice to get to use it properly.

To see this polish read on after the jump.

Just As You Are is a grey base filled with grey and pink hexes and pink and silver hearts. I used two coats over a grey creme (I have completely forgotten which one, sorry!). It definitely doesn't need to be layered as the base is pretty opaque but I wanted to conserve this polish as it's pretty! The hearts were plentiful, if anything I found I got too many on the brush so I picked them off and placed them individually, but there was definitely no need for frustrating fishing for glitters. I do love this polish, I think it's adorable.

I decided to have another go at stamping for my nail art.

I stamped using Sinful Colors - Snow Me White and the scribbled heart image from MoYou Nails Plate 105

I topped it off with a matte top coat, I think I prefer this polish matte.

I wasn't sure if I liked my nail art to begin with, but looking back at the photos I think I quite like it. The polish however I had no qualms about, it's just so cute!!

Let me know your thoughts in the comments.

Thanks for looking.

  2. I am in love with this manicure. The scribbled heart was the perfect image to go with this polish. It adds a nice touch without distracting from the base color. I like it matte also, too much shine could have distracted from the manicure. Great Job!
