Blue and Gold Skittle

Hello lovelies. This is a scheduled post as I'll be living it up in London this weekend to celebrate my 21st!

I went to a wedding last weekend, so I wanted some simple nail art that I could do easily on both hands. I went for a skittle style design with a blue and gold colour scheme, which matched the outfit that I was wearing.

Graveyard Nails

Hello loves. Happy Halloween!

I've got my final Halloween design of the year to show you today. I have been wanting to do some graveyard nails for ages... l intended to last Halloween and never got round to it. This year I promised myself that I would do some and when I saw these nails by the lovely Sarah of Penny Pinching Polish I knew immediately I wanted to do something similar. I'm so glad I finally got these done!

52 Week Pick & Mix Challenge: Three Colour Gradient/Pink (with Butterfly Glitters from The Nail Arcade)

Provided for review*

Hello my loves. It's nearly Friday!

I have possibly my girliest manicure ever to show you today. I'm also killing two birds with one stone and combining this week's 52 Week Challenge and my review for some cute little butterfly glitters from The Nail Arcade. The themes this week for the 52 week challenge are pink and three colour gradient.. so I went for a pink gradient (I'm a creative genius, I know :P).

52 Week Pick & Mix Challenge: Two Colour Gradient/Teal

Hi loves. How are we all? My day has felt very long today so I am glad I am home!

I have the start of a brand new challenge to show you today. I am part of the Crumpet's Nail Tarts group on Facebook and we are starting a brand new weekly challenge for the next year. Each week there will be two themes set to create some nail art with - we can use either one of the themes or both of them combined. I want to try to use both of the themes each week to challenge myself but I will have to see how I go. This week's themes are a two colour gradient and teal, so I've gone for a teal gradient and also added in some stamping.

Fingerfood's Theme Buffet - Fruit and Veg

Hello lovelies. It's Friday! I've had the day off work today and I went to Thorpe Park with some friends, I had a lovely time but now I need to put my feet up :).

I have this week's Theme Buffet to show you today - the theme this time is fruit and veg. I have been loving fruit themed manicures this year, I think they have been a bit of a trend this summer. So obviously I wanted to go with the fruit side of the theme but I wanted to go for something a little more obscure than what I have done previously. In the end I settled on a papaya - I've never actually eaten one but I thought it would look good on my nails.

Pick A Polish: China Glaze - Ingrid.

Hi everyone. I hope Monday hasn't treated you too badly. I didn't sleep very well last night so I have been realllly tired today, but I do only have a four day week at work this week so the thought of that is getting me through :).

This week for Pick A Polish I shall be showing you China Glaze - Ingrid. I don't own many browns, it's not a colour I will usually pick to wear, I just have a few different shades for nail art. Despite this I do often really like browns when I wear them and this is no exception.

Moroccan Skyline.

Hi girlies. How is everyone? I have spent my Saturday so far doing lots of nail art, but hopefully I shall be going out to see the sun after I have posted this.

I have another manicure inspired by someone else to show you today, maybe I should call this inspiration week as 3 out of my 5 posts have been copied from other people lol. Anyway, I tried to recreate this manicure by m_a_tom on instagram (initially I was going to enter it in a contest she was running but I missed the cut off date, oops!). This design reminded me of my trip to Morocco at the beginning of July so I thought I would give it a go and relive some Moroccan memories :).

Life In Lacquer's Nail Art Challenge - Monochrome.

Hello ladies. I hope you all had a lovely Monday, mine was fairly uneventful.

I have the penultimate theme for Life In Lacquer's Nail Art Challenge to show you today. I will be sad when this challenge is over, I've enjoyed taking part! Today's theme is monochrome which I was feeling a bit uninspired by.. and I still can't figure out if I like what I came up with.

Holiday Nails!

Hello my loves. I'm back! I got home about half past four this morning so I am very very tired and not feeling too great now, but I had an amazing holiday and I want to go back already!

So today I had planned to show you the next Fingerfood's Theme Buffet prompt, however I realised this morning that last week's post should have been this weeks and I got all my prompts mixed up.. so I shall start again from next week lol. Instead I shall show you the nails I wore on holiday and also the nails I did for my friends.

Life In Lacquers Nail Art Challenge - Pink.

Hi loves. Another scheduled post from me today, I will now be about half way through my holiday.. hopefully a bit less pale!

The second prompt for Life In Lacquers Nail Art Challenge is pink! I don't consider myself an overly girly person, but I do own a lot of pink nail polish for some reason. It is the colour I own the most of so I had plenty of polish to choose from for this theme.

June Tri Polish Challenge: Turquoise, Coral and Nude.

Hello my lovelies. I hope you're all well today. I am currently trying to hide from all this pollen that's making me itchy and sneezey!

I have my offering for the Tri Polish Challenge this week to show you today. I found this week quite hard, I was struggling with what to do with the colours (a problem I have been having a lot lately with TPC). But I came up with something in the end :).

Today I have another manicure to show you which was inspired by some clothes I found online.. this time a watermelon themed dress! (I told you I'd be posting lots of things like this :P). This time I have also done a tutorial to go with it.

Copycat Saturday: Gradient Triangles

Hi everyone. I hope you are all having a good Saturday :). Mine has been spent working and then getting my car fixed because it broke down, stupid car!

I am back today to show you this week's Copycat Saturday design. This week I recreated this design by Pshiiit. I really struggled with this design, I re-did it a few times but just couldn't seem to get it right! I am probably being a bit over critical of myself but this manicure just frustrated me :P. Anyway, enough of me moaning..

January Tri Polish Challenge: Red, Yellow and Orange.

Hello everyone. I hope you all had good days, mine was long!

For the new year I wanted to join a challenge or something similar for my blog, since I enjoyed the 12 Days Of Christmas Challenge so much. I recently joined Crumpet's Nail Tarts group on Facebook and saw a post on there about the Tri Polish Challenge themes for the new year so I decided to give that a go. For those of you who may not be aware of what this challenge entails, there are 3 colours set each month for the challenge. You then have to create a manicure each week using those set colours.

For January the theme is red, orange and yellow. I have chosen to use China Glaze - Hey Sailor, Essie - Fear Or Desire and Nicole by OPI - Hit The Lights.

To see what nail art I created just click below.

12 Days Of Christmas Challenge: Day 4 - Festive Colours/Glitters

Hello everyone. I hope we all have some good plans for the weekend. I have my Christmas work do tonight, its been ages since I have had a proper night out so I am looking forward to it.

Its day 4 of the 12 Days of Christmas Challenge and today's theme is festive colours/glitters. I have been trying to cut down on my spending lately as I am a bit skint lol, so I haven't bought too many Christmas themed polishes this year (well, not many for me anyway). However I did pick up this little baby from Nail Lacquer UK and after receiving it I realised it did look rather festive, so this is what I will be showing you today.

The polish in question is Nail Lacquer UK - Blinded By The Bling.

I decided to do a glitter gradient because I haven't done one in ages and I don't think I have ever posted one on my blog.

My base colour is China Glaze - Hey Sailor, which I seem to be using loads lately. I think it is a very good red for Christmas.

I dabbed on Blinded By The Bling using a make up sponge.

I am rubbish at describing glitters, so I will just let you look at how pretty it is in the pictures.

Isn't it a beauty! I love glitter gradients, they are so quick and easy but still look really good :) I got a lot of compliments when I was wearing this.

What's your favourite festive polish?

Thanks for looking.
