Moyra Suede Polishes & Nail Art

Hello my lovelies. I hope you are all having a lovely weekend so far. My has consisted of painting my nails and fiddling around with my camera so far... I lead such an exciting life!

I recently purchased a few polishes from Moyra which has just launched in the UK. They seem to be a really affordable brand with a great range of polishes so I couldn't wait to give some a try. Today I will be showing you two suede polishes that I got, along with some nail art.

Hello everyone. It's Friday! I am soo glad it's the weekend, and a three day weekend at that :).

If you are not already familiar with Born Pretty Store it is an online store full of lots of nail art goodies at bargain prices (they also do lots of other products but the nail art stuff is what I use them for). I have two items to show you, the first of which are some lovely 3 mm hexagonal studs which I will be showing you today (my other review is to follow next week).

Watercolour Flowers & Tutorial.

Hello girlies. I am looking forward to the weekend now, we are nearly there!

I have a lovely floral design which was inspired by this manicure by sabzmasih on instagram to show you today. This was one of these designs that I saw and then put on my nails as soon as I could, it's just so pretty! I've also done a tutorial to show you how I did these.

Turquoise Studs

Hi girlies. The sun is out today! It's crazy how a little bit of sunshine can change my mood completely :).

Today I have a manicure using some really pretty studs I bought recently from Born Pretty Store. I really love the look of turquoise stones so when I saw these online I snapped them up straight away and used them as soon as I received them.

My Very First Watermarble

Hello lovelies. It's FRIDAAAY! And my foot is starting to feel better so I am in a good mood this afternoon. I don't usually post on a Friday but I have so much to show you at the moment that I decided to post this today :).

I have something very exciting to show you today, something that I am immensely proud of.. I DID A WATER MARBLE!! Now if you have been following this blog for a while you may have noticed I have never posted anything about water marbling at all, this is because every time I have tried it previously it has ended in either tears or tantrums (or a combination of the two). However this time I had a little help in the form of an amazing book written by fellow blogger and nail art addict Tracey, which I will go into more detail about shortly.

Glitter Gradient Tutorial.

Hello lovely lacquer-heads! I hope you are all well. I'm still having foot troubles so I've been off work today to try and rest it, it still doesn't seem to be getting much better though :(.

I have my first ever tutorial to show you today.. I have been meaning to do a tutorial for ages and I have finally gotten around to it. I recently did a quick glitter gradient for a night out, and I posted a quick snap of it on a Facebook group the next day and initially I didn't plan to blog about it. However people seemed to really like it and a couple of people asked me how I did it so I decided why not get my bum in gear and do a tutorial for it :).

May Tri Polish Challenge: Red, Purple and Green

Hi loves. I'm feeling very tired at the moment I have had a very long day, I've been up since half 4 this morning. I need a nap lol.

Anyway, the beginning of a new month means new colours for the Tri Polish Challenge, this month they are red, purple and green. I have to say I'm not overly inspired by the colours this month, they kind of remind me of christmas. But I shall try my best to come up with some interesting designs to show you.

Pick A Polish: Models Own - Duck

Hello my lovelies. I hope you are all having a wonderful bank holiday Monday. I am currently stuck at home with my bad foot, I can't drive or walk very well so I am missing out on the sun :( but on the upside I am getting lots of blog related things done.

I have more Models Own to show you today in form of a Pick A Polish post. I have liked their last couple of collections that they've released. The polish I shall be showing you today is Models Own - Duck

April Tri Polish Challenge: Pink, Blue and Yellow.

Hi everyone. I hope you're not struggling with the bank holiday being over as much as I am.. I could do with another one next weekend!

It's Tri Polish Tuesday time! I'm really enjoying these posts lately, possibly because I am still in love with this months colour combo. I am glad there are five Tuesdays this month :). I've kept with the pastel theme for today's design.

Pick A Polish: Barry M - Blue Moon

Hi loves. I hope you all had a wonderful Easter and are enjoying the rest of the bank holiday weekend. I had a day out in London yesterday which was fun and I think I'm going to be having a bit of a lazy day today to recharge my batteries before work tomorrow.

So today I shall be showing you this week's Pick A Polish and this week it is Barry M - Blue Moon which I have been playing with. I used to use this one quite a lot (its quite hard to see in the photo but the bottle is actually half empty), but I haven't used it in a while so it was good to revisit an oldie.

Happy Easter!

Hello lovelies. Happy Saturday! A later post than normal from me, I went on a mega bike ride today.. I am now walking like I've crapped myself and I am completely exhausted. A nice gentle night in for me tonight I think!

Today I have my main Easter design for this year to show you. I have to be honest Easter doesn't hugely inspire me for nail art, I was planning on doing more designs but I couldn't think of anything more than what I've already shown you lol. But for today's manicure I decided to get in the spirit of things and went for an all out Easter-fest.

Easter Daffodils

Hello ladies. I hope everyone is excited for the bank holiday weekend :) I am still working tomorrow but have the other three days off after that which I am looking forward to.

Since it's now practically Easter I decided it was time to do some Easter inspired designs. For today's manicure I wanted something that wasn't totally in your face Easter, but still had the feel about it.. so I went for daffodils (I still have an in your face Easter post to come). I was perhaps being a little ambitious with these but I don't think I did too badly :).

April Tri Polish Challenge: Pink, Yellow and Blue.

Hello my lovelies. It's a lovely sunny afternoon today so I am feeling positive, it's amazing what a bit of sun can do for your mood :).

Today I am going to show you this weeks Tri Polish manicure. The colours for April are pink, yellow and blue. I thought I would struggle with this colour combo but I am happy with what I have come up with so far this month. I did say in my last Tri Polish post that I was going to try and do an Autism Awareness challenge so wouldn't be doing Tri Polish this month, however it all crept up on me too fast and I haven't had time for the challenge unfortunately. I do still have an autism awareness themed manicure lined up as my next post though :). Anyway...

Piss Up and Pandas.

Hello everyone. How are you all? One more day until the weekend people, I am in need of a lie in!

So today I am going to show you the nails I wore for my trip last weekend. I flew up to Edinburgh with four of my friends for a weekend of sightseeing, shopping, eating and drinking.. but the main reason for our trip was to see the Pandas at Edinburgh Zoo. I had a wonderful weekend and the Pandas were very cute and cuddly looking. Naturally I needed panda themed nails to match the occasion :).

Copycat Saturday - Dotticure Flowers

Hi loves. How are your weekends going? I'm still ill, the weather is so lovely today and I am stuck at home waaah! :(

So for this week's Copycat Saturday manicure I went for this simple floral dotticure by Cubbiful. I really loved this design when I saw it, I liked the simplicity and the unusual colour, so I decided to recreate it for myself.

I Love Nail Polish Swatches and Nail Art.

Hello lovelies. How are you all? I don't usually post on a Friday.. I meant to post this yesterday but I've got the flu and was in bed most of yesterday. I'm still not well but I have managed to drag myself out of bed to post this today cos I wanna share them.

Today I am going to show you the polishes I got from the I Love Nail Polish Spring Collection. I thought this collection looked amazing so I had to snap up a few when the pre order started. I managed to restrain myself and just bought two. I decided I liked the look of them together so I did some nail art too :).
