Palm Tree Nail Art

Helloo!

Well my first attempt at blogging kinda failed a little bit didn't it. I don't think I realised how time consuming running a blog actually is, but I have decided to have another shot at it. However this time I actually have a couple of different things already lined up to show you, instead of throwing myself in head first with no preparation and then getting overwhelmed as I have nothing to post! I think I will try and break myself in gently and aim to post at least once a week and then if I feel able to post more often I shall do so :).

Anyway, enough of the babbling and onto the nails.

This is definitely not a unique design, I have seen loooads of similar designs floating around the web this summer. I have been meaning to try it myself for ages but have only just recently got round to it.

For this design I started with a white base on all nails and then sponged a gradient over the top using China Glaze - Riveting, Barry M - Mango and W7 - Neon Yellow.

I then freehanded the palm trees and birds using my Barry M Nail Art Pen in black.

I was pleased with how these turned out and were much simpler to do than I first anticipated.
I used this photo on pinterest as my inspiration.

Have you tried a similar design to this? Let me know in the comments below.

Thanks for stopping by!
